"Τheatre for democracy: mingling the texts of antiquity to discuss the present institutions"

A 3 hour workshop. 25 and 26 /8/ 2016, 5.30μμ-8.30μμ
Theatre games and acts that aim to the use of textbook material of ancient language, literature and mythology as a starting point to look into the ethics of present times.
Georgina Kakoudaki is director and theatre teacher. Visiting professor in theatre pedagogics in Theatre Studies Dpt, University of Patras, Pri-primary Education Dpt, Pedagogic Universities Of Volos and Athens, Greece. Has taught drama and theatre education in Primary and Art High school and professional drama schools since 1993 as well as in a series of workshops for the Net for the theatre in Education, Greece. She is a director in professional theatre performances for adolescence audiences such as Vivid Film/After the foam (devised), Jack Thorne’s Burying your brother in the pavement, Αristophanes The birds, Shakespeare Midsummer Night's Dream, Goethe Faust, Sophokles Anigone, Pericles Funeral Oration via Public Signal, Aristophanes The Clouds.
